Go Ahead. Adieu.

A lot of times, we do everything in our power to avoid it. But we soon realize change is inevitable. I have so much to say, so much to write.

Yet, I haven’t found the proper space and/or forum to keep my ever changing
needs satisfied.

I won’t get rid of you, wordpress, because well, I never underestimate the entertainment value of reading something I wrote a year or so ago.

But the internet is a beautiful thing, and it would be a shame not to maximize its potential. So I’m moving forward. Let’s see where I’m headed.

Exciting.

Trying something different. Twitter truly does serve as a micro-blog of sorts. So from time to time, I’ll post a week’s worth of tweets, if my blogging becomes too minimal. Hey, at least it’s something. Feel free to follow. twitter.com/jdeez

Barely finished flyer design by yours truly. Support my good friend Deevs and head over to Claremont this Saturday for some good times.

If there’s one thing I’ve grown to hate, it’s when people return from a blogging hiatus and proceed to apologize for their recent lack of blogging. So I’ll spare you the excuses of how busy I’ve been and just continue on.

The truth is I have been busy (I guess I couldn’t avoid it). I’ve been experiencing the real world. And unfortunately for me, my worst fears are coming to fruition — I’m enjoying it. It’s unfortunate because I knew this opportunity, although the beginning of something good, was temporary for the time being. Eventually, I would have to go back to school, and finish off what I started. The worst part of it all? Kissing that steady paycheck goodbye.

I don’t regret for a second giving up my normal summer vacation. Those weren’t very productive, anyway.

P.S. Read this. I enjoyed it — dontevenreply.com

1. Mattel Headquarters Tower – El Segundo, CA
A bit overwhelming at first, but I was told that it should be.

2. Giant logo on lawn
Nice way of marking your territory.

3. Real-life Hot Wheels
Yes, it’s a working vehicle. Imagine seeing that on the 405.

lakers practice facility

4. Toyota Center aka Lakers Practice Facility
Literally one block away from the office, hoping to catch a glimpse of the team.
