Careless.

smart people

So unlike the rest of my university, I finished finals yesterday afternoon. At first, as always, I was glad that mess was over. The celebrations ahead would be fun, but then it hit me. What do I do now? Don’t get me wrong, I’m the type of person who truly loves having nothing to do. I’ve never succumbed to the power of boredom. But here I was, with absolutely nothing to do.

I watched the Lakers-Knicks game and caught up with The Office — the show that never will stop being funny. For the rest of the week, I plan on finishing off the Christmas shopping, if the weather permits. This whole rain thing is starting to get old, real fast. Hopefully, I can fit in a couple of hours in the gym with me, myself, and a basketball. I’m long overdue.

Last night, after eating one of the world’s most unhealthy meals, I felt sick to my stomach. I immediately regretted consuming such a monstrosity of a dish. It was at that moment, I promised to myself I would watch what I ate from now on. Seriously, no more careless eating. It stops now. After the holidays.

Before I forget, I have to mention I watched the film Smart People last weekend, and it was so much better than I had anticipated. I figured with an all-star cast, the script had to have some substance, and it didn’t disappoint. Without getting too boring, I’ll just say the movie was awesome — an instant favorite with the most fitting ending.
