I was sitting in my English lecture, listening to my professor speak about his love for non-formulaic fiction when I noticed some scribbles on my desk. “Share a secret and set yourself free, www.postsecret.com,” it said. It peaked my interest enough for me to pull out my phone and vist the site.

The site has been running for years, yet I’ve never heard of it, once again proving my inability to stay in touch with the internet.

It turns out the site is a community art project. People design and decorate postcards and mail it in with a secret — about anything. It’s an ingenious idea that got me a) wondering why I never came across this before and b) jealous that I didn’t come up with it first.

Oh how I miss this feeling. This team is for real. One sweep down. 12 wins to go.

I literally bruised myself after Luke Walton hit a 3. Don’t ask me how it happened. See you in Round 2.

There’s something to be said about California weather during this time of year. It’s not even Summer, yet I can feel it. I used to believe I enjoyed the season — going as far as saying that I loved it. The truth is, I never have. I love the fact that there is no school taking up most of my time, but that’s where the infatuation ends.

Blame it on global warming (if you’re into that kind of thing), but the last couple of summers have been hotter than usual, even by Southern California’s standards. I don’t ever remember having to fear the outdoors because of 115 degree heat. Winter has really grown on me.

I’ll always be a product of California, one who throws on a sweater and parka once the thermometer hits 60 degrees, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve grown to appreciate those cooler, breezy days.

Plus, wearing shorts makes me feel like I’m 5.

Haven’t you always wanted a real keyboard sewn into your jeans? If your answer to that question is no, then be glad — you’re normal. No, but really. Think about how much time these pants would save. Instead of having to bend over to reach your laptop keyboard, you can simply relax and type from your new keyboard pants without breaking a sweat.

And plus, you won’t look like a fool at all!

I’ve heard of tech-fashion, but I kind of assumed it would have nothing to do with typing on your crotch. If this is the future, I want no part of it. No part.

Yeah, so my last three posts have been Laker related. Live with it. Just 14 more wins to go. Next up: a trip to Denver for Game 3.

I was having a difficult time deciding what I would do for an upcoming project, but I think I finally came up with a decision. That’s a good thing since it’s been bugging me for the last week or so. It’s related to this blog, so more on that as it gets closer to completion.

Playoffs are in full swing. 40 games in 40 nights. It really doesn’t get any better than that. I love it; my mom hates it. She always has for as long as I can remember. No more TFC during dinner time was her gripe. Luckily for her, I live in a different city during the week. But weekends are mine.

A Lakers win or loss can alter my mood greatly. A lot of people don’t know this about me. But ever since I was about 5 years old, my family knew it wasn’t in their best interests to come near me after a tough loss. There’s a hole in my living room wall that can vouch for that. So yes, I can be a bit scary. But as long as the wins keep on coming, there’s nothing to worry about.
