Earthquake.

Typically, when earthquakes take place, I’m in my bed sleeping. The closest thing I’ve gotten to an earthquake was a simulation bus in 3rd grade. So when my house started shaking this morning, a couple miles away from the epicenter, I wasn’t quite sure what was going on.

I obviously felt my whole house shake from every direction, but by the time I fully comprehended the situation, it ended a few seconds later. So yes, that’s the update from here. I’m okay, in case you were wondering.

Luckily, there doesn’t seem to be any damage around my area. I know other cities had it much worse. I felt a small aftershock, but hopefully, things are beginning to settle down.
