I opened my closet today looking for a shirt to put on. Folded high on the top shelf was a green tee. I pulled it out and unfolded it to see what shirt it was. On the front of the shirt read “Make 7″ with the words “Up Yours” on the back. I’m sure a lot of people remember the 7-Up campaign from several years ago.

I remember thinking how clever it was. My mom bought it for me in sixth grade on a trip to Catalina. There weren’t many left in the store, so I was forced to purchase a size L. Needless to say, I looked ridiculous wearing it around town. I think I only wore it on a couple occasions.

Making up for old times, I decided to put on my new, old shirt. It fit like a glove.
