I’ve been listening to “Violet Hill” non-stop since Coldplay released a free download on Tuesday (coldplay.com). It’s only up for a week, so get while it lasts. I love the fact that after Coldplay disappears for two or three years in between albums, they come back with a sound that never fails to blow my mind.

Forget the summer blockbusters. Between Death Cab’s new album and now Coldplay’s, this summer is shaping up to be the stuff of legend.
